I collaborated with SD Melanin and SD BAC to create a banner for their Juneteenth event. I wanted to show representation and joy to celebrate our freedom.

Size for hanging is 8′ x 10′

Juneteenth, June 19th 1865, marked the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. While it was over two years past the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, it is still a day to be celebrated.
