Kwanzaa, celebrated December 26-January 1, was founded in 1966 as an African American cultural holiday.
This collaboration with Charnaie Gordon of Here Wee Read was such a fun exploration of what Kwanzaa is all about. I was able to create a printable sheet for kids that gave a brief overview of all the principles of Kwanzaa.
