Black women are dying from childbirth at an alarming rate. In the US, Black mothers die at three to four times the rate of white mothers, according to the CDC. This is outrageous and clearly shows the health disparity facing Black women.

Why is this happening? Because there is a racial divide that is silencing Black women when they speak. Listen to Black women when they speak and let you know they’re in pain or something doesn’t feel right.

Give us options and access to superb healthcare, doulas, midwives, and doctors. Black mothers should not to have save their own lives.
